Material Specifications

Broadcast Advertising Material Requirements for dLifeTV

Advertising Spot Sizes:
:10 second commercials
:15 second commercials
:20 second commercials
:30 second commercials
:60 second commercials

Format:
For each individual commercial spot, please send dLife:

  1. 3 copies of Beta SP Tape
  2. 3 copies of VHS Tape

Each tape should include:

  1. Spot name & ISCI code on box and tape
  2. Bars and Tone
  3. Slate with matching spot name & ISCI code to box
  4. Exact time of :10, :15, :20, :30  or 60 seconds

CNBC Legal Approval
If available, please provide via email an electronic format of the spot in either in either a QuickTime or Windows Media Player format (.mov or .wmv) to expedite CNBC legal review and approval to Erin Spongberg (spongberg@dlife.com)

Timing All spots must be received TWO (2) WEEKS PRIOR to campaign start.

Delivery
Please send two (3) copies of Beta SP and two (3) copies of VHS for each ad by a delivery service with tracking (FedEx, et al.) to:

Production Specifications

:10 and :15 Second Ad Billboard Requirements for dLifeTV

Overview:
dLife will work with Sponsors/Partners to create :10 and :15 second commercial spots, containing customized messages. dLife will produce the advertisement based on text, images, and voiceover scripts provided by the Sponsors/Partners.

Format:
For each commercial spot, please send dLife:

  1. Text – No more than 2 full lines or 25 words
  2. Images – Native Illustrator (EPS), Photoshop or Quark files
  3. Brand Footage (if available) – MiniDV format
  4. Voiceover copy - No more than 2 full lines or 25 words
  5. Creative mock-ups of text and images together as a storyboard would be appreciated
Timing: Once input is received per above, dLife will need 5-7 working days to create the spot. Upon your approval of the spot, it must be submitted to CNBC for legal clearance, which can take up to two weeks. As soon as the spot is approved, it will be incorporated in the dLifeTV ad schedule, per Sponsor/Partner agreement.
