4 each  boneless pork chops
2 tbsp  white all purpose flour
1 tsp  Butter, unsalted
0 1/2 cup  fresh chopped green onion
2 each  medium garlic cloves
8 oz  fresh mushroom slices
0 1/2 tsp  ground thyme
8 floz  Beer
1 pinch  salt
1 pinch  black pepper
  1. Lightly flour chops. Melt butter in nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until foaming.
  2. Brown chops quickly on both sides. Remove, reserve. Add green onion, garlic, mushrooms and thyme; saute for 2-3 minutes, until onion is soft.
  3. Return chops to skillet, add beer; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 7-8 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
