5 each  large red bell peppers
1 pinch  salt and pepper
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Wash and dry peppers.
  2. Remove stems, seeds, and veins. Arrange peppers on a 9 by 13-inch baking pan and roast about 1 hour or until skin is wrinkled.
  3. Slice in half and season with salt and pepper.
