3 cup  fresh cranberries
1 each  whole jalapeno pepper
0 3/4 cup  fresh chopped onion
2 tbsp  fresh ginger root
0 1/2 cup  fresh cilantro
5 tbsp  fresh lime juice
2 tsp  grated orange peel
0 1/4 cup  tequila, 80 proof
3 tbsp  orange liqueur
1 pinch  salt
  1. Sort and rinse cranberries, discard soft or decayed berries.
  2. In food processor or blender, purée cranberries, chili, onion, ginger, cilantro, lime juice, orange peel, tequila (if desired), and orange liqueur (or extra peel) until finely diced.
  3. Season with salt to taste.
