5 each  medium apples
4 each  medium pears
1 tbsp  fresh lemon juice
0.3333 cup  packed light brown sugar
2 tbsp  sugar
4 tsp  cornstarch
0 3/4 cup  Cream, whipping, heavy
1 tbsp  Butter, unsalted
0 1/2 cup  chopped pecans
  1. Combine apples and pears with lemon juice. Thread fruit onto 12 skewers and arrange on a baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees F 15 to 20 minutes, until slightly soft.
  2. Mix sugars and cornstarch in a pot. Slowly mix in whipping cream and bring mixture to a boil, stirring continually. Take pot off of heat and mix in butter and pecans. Serve warm as a dipping sauce for the fruit or drizzled over top.
