1 tbsp  black pepper
1 tsp  salt
1 tsp  paprika
0 1/2 tsp  white pepper, whole
0 1/2 tsp  ground oregano
0 1/2 tsp  ground thyme
0.125 tsp  ground red pepper (cayenne)
3 lb  rib eye steak
2 tbsp  low sodium soy sauce
1 each  cooking spray
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. Mix salt, paprika, white pepper, oregano, thyme, and red pepper.
  3. Cut off excess fat from roast. Coat roast with soy sauce and massage with pepper mixture. Lay roast on a cooking spray coated broiler pan. Bake roast 10 minutes. Lower oven temperature to 350 degrees F and bake 1 hour or until a meat thermometer reads at least 145 degrees F.
  4. Move roast to a serving platter and let rest 10 minutes before cutting.
