Ingredients Directions
  1. Preheat grill to medium high.
  2. Rub steak with olive oil on each side. Season with black pepper. Allow to stand, covered, at room temperature 30 minutes.
  3. While steak is standing, cut mushroom stem even with cap. Discard stem.
  4. Slice mushroom cap and green onions.
  5. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium. Add mushroom slices and green onions, and cook for 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  6. Stir in broth and port. Bring to boil. Remove from heat.
  7. Grill filet, uncovered, 5 minutes per side for medium rare.
  8. Thinly slice steak diagonally and serve with mushrooms. Divide liquid from sauce into 2 small ramekins. Serve on side with meal.
