1 each  olive oil cooking spray
0 1/2 cup  fresh chopped onion
4 each  medium garlic cloves
28 oz  canned, crushed tomatoes
8 oz  tomato sauce, low sodium
0 1/2 cup  cold water
6 oz  vegetarian protein crumbles
2 tbsp  chili powder
2 tsp  oregano leaves
1 tsp  ground cinnamon
1 tsp  ground allspice
0 1/2 tsp  paprika
1 tbsp  unsweetened cocoa powder
0 1/2 tsp  salt
0 1/2 tsp  black pepper
  1. Heat a cooking spray coated pot over medium heat. Cook onion and garlic for 5 minutes or until soft.
  2. Mix in the rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil. Lower heat, place lid on pot, and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove lid and simmer for 15 more minutes, stirring occasionally.
