4 each  large red bell peppers
1 tsp  sugar
  1. Lay peppers, flesh side down on a broiler pan. Broil until skins are blackened and blistered, about 6 to 7 minutes.
  2. Put peppers in a resealable plastic bag for 5 minutes. Peel off skins.
  3. Using a food processor or blender, puree peppers and sugar until smooth. Chill until ready to use.
