0 3/4 cup  fat free milk
0 1/4 cup  cider vinegar
2 cup  white all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp  baking soda
1 tsp  cream of tartar
0 1/2 tsp  salt
3 tbsp  Shortening, vegetable
1 each  cooking spray
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. Combine milk and vinegar. Mix flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, and salt. Mix in milk mixture until fully combined.
  3. Knead dough on a floured surface 1 to 2 minutes. Form dough into a 1/2-inch thick sphere. Cut dough into rounds with a circular cookie cutter.
  4. Arrange biscuits on a cooking spray coated baking sheet and bake 10 to 12 minutes.
