0 1/2 cup  sugar
2 tbsp  cornstarch
0 1/2 cup  cold water
2 cup  Blueberries, fresh
1 tsp  fresh lemon peel
1 tbsp  fresh lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp  ground cinnamon
1 pinch  ground nutmeg
  1. Mix together the sugar, cornstarch, and water in a medium size saucepan. After simmering, stir in the berries, turn heat to medium high and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally.
  2. Reduce heat to medium and continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens.
  3. Remove the sauce from heat and stir in the lemon zest, lemon juice, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
