Mix salt with garlic and pepper and rub onto steaks. Arrange steaks on a cooking spray coated broiler rack and broil 6 minutes per side or until preferred degree of doneness. Set aside in a warm place.
Pour oil in a pot and heat over medium heat. Sauté garlic 30 seconds, stirring continually. Stir in broth, hoisin sauce, mustard, tomato paste, and vinegar and let boil. Lower heat and simmer, whisking continually for 5 minutes.
When ready to serve, slice steak into thin pieces and spoon sauce over.
