10 oz  fresh spinach, 10 oz. package
6 each  medium garlic cloves
1 pinch  salt and pepper
1 tbsp  olive oil
1 pinch  hot red pepper flakes
0 3/4 lb  raw medium shrimp
2 tbsp  chopped parsley
  1. Rinse spinach and steam with the water clinging to the leaves. Cook until wilted and divide between 2 plates.
  2. Heat a medium skillet on medium-high heat.
  3. Add olive oil, garlic, and chili flakes. Saute for one minute.
  4. Add shrimp toss in oil for 2-3 minutes or until shrimp are no longer translucent.
  5. Remove from heat and sprinkle with parsley and salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Spoon over spinach including pan juices.
