0 3/4 cup  Fruit Butter, apple
2 tbsp  vegetable oil
1 each  eggs
2 tsp  vanilla extract
0 3/4 cup  packed brown sugar
1 1/2 cup  Flour, white, unbleached, enriched
1 tsp  baking soda
0 1/2 tsp  salt
1 tsp  ground cinnamon
0 1/2 tsp  ground allspice
2 cup  Oats, rolled, old fashioned
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl mix together the apple butter, oil, egg, vanilla, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl mix together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and cardamom or allspice. Stir in the oats.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until well blended.
  5. Drop the batter by the tablespoonful about 3 inches apart onto the baking sheet.
  6. Bake for about 15 minutes, until lightly browned. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
