1 each  medium pears
0 1/2 cup  fresh diced pineapple
0 1/2 tbsp  rum
1 tbsp  fresh mint
  1. Slice the pear in half and remove the core.
  2. Cut a very thin slice from the rounded side of the pear so that it will sit flat and place the two halves on two separate dessert plates.
  3. Puree pineapple and rum in a blender and pour over the pears.
  4. Place mint leaves on the plates for a garnish.
