5 oz  fresh spinach leaves
0 1/2 cup  quick cooking brown rice
1 cup  fresh bean sprouts
1 cup  cold water
2 tsp  sesame oil
2 each  scallions
1 pinch  black pepper
1 pinch  salt
  1. Put water, rice, spinach, and bean sprouts into a large saucepan.
  2. After bringing the water to a boil, cover with lid and lower the heat to medium.
  3. Let simmer for about 30 minutes.
  4. After stirring in sesame oil and scallions add salt and pepper.
