Ingredients Directions
  1. Remove the fat from the steak and cook in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat for 2 minutes on each side.
  2. Sprinkle salt and pepper on the cooked side while cooking the other one.
  3. Take steak out of the skillet.
  4. Mix the balsamic vinegar and garlic together before putting it in the skillet along with the mushrooms and onions.
  5. Sauté for 2 minutes.
  6. Return steak to skillet and continue cooking for about 2-3 minutes.
  7. Spray bread with cooking spray and toast in toaster oven.
  8. Slice steak diagonally against the grain and divide between the 2 slices.
  9. Spoon mushrooms and onions on top.
  10. Sprinkle salt and pepper on before covering with the remaining slices of bread.
  11. Cut each sandwich in half before serving.
