  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a medium bowl, cream margarine and then add the brown sugar substitute and the egg; beat well.
  3. Sift together the flour, baking powder, and spice, and then add to the creamed mixture. Beat well, and then stir in the raisins and applesauce.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly into an 8-inch square baking pan coated with cooking spray and bake for 25 minutes.
  5. Let cool and cut into 24 equal bars.
