8 each  fresh tomatoes
1 cup  red onion, sliced
0 1/2 cup  fresh basil
0 1/2 cup  rice vinegar
1 tbsp  olive oil
1 tsp  sugar
0 1/2 tsp  salt
  1. Lay tomato slices and onion rings in a 13 by 9 inch dish.
  2. Whisk together basil, vinegar, oil, sugar, and salt in a small bowl. Spoon overtop of tomatoes and onions.
  3. Wrap with plastic wrap and place in refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
