2 each  medium onions
2 tbsp  margarine
1 tbsp  white whole wheat flour
4 cup  whole milk
1 tsp  salt
1 pinch  black pepper
2 each  raw egg yolks
  1. Cook onions in margarine for about 10 minutes, until tender but not brown.
  2. Sprinkle onions with flour; stir until blended.
  3. Add milk, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. Stir a small amount of hot soup into beaten egg yolks, stirring until blended. Return egg mixture to soup, and stir until well blended.
  5. Add salt and black pepper.
