Whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, sherry, vinegar, ginger, sesame seeds, sesame oil, chile paste, and garlic. Pour mixture into a resealable plastic bag and add fish to bag. Close securely and chill for at least 20 minutes.
Take fish out of bag, throwing away marinade. Lay fish on a cooking spray coated broiler pan and cook 4 minutes, fish should be flaky when finished.
