1 each  cooking spray
2 each  eggs
1 cup  brown sugar
0 1/2 cup  low fat buttermilk
1 tsp  vanilla extract
2 cup  white all purpose flour
0 1/4 tsp  salt
0 1/4 tsp  ground allspice
8 oz  plums
1 cup  chopped pecans
0 1/2 cup  powdered sugar
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Spray a 13x9-inch baking dish or pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, cream together the beaten eggs with the brown sugar, buttermilk, and vanilla.
  3. Add the flour, salt, and allspice, beating well together, then stir in the cooked plums and chopped pecans
  4. Pour this batter into the prepared baking dish, spread evenly. Bake 35 to 40 minutes, until golden.
  5. Remove and cool completely on wire rack. Cut into about 30 bars and dust well with fine sifted powdered sugar, if desired.
