0 3/4 cup  fresh cilantro
2 tbsp  slivered almonds
1 tbsp  fresh jalapeno chili peppers
0.125 tsp  salt
0.125 tsp  black pepper
1 each  medium garlic cloves
1 1/2 oz  plain yogurt
1 1/2 tsp  fresh lime juice
1 lb  flank steak
1 pinch  fresh cilantro
  1. Preheat grill to medium.
  2. Using a blender or food processor, pulse cilantro, almonds, jalapeño pepper, salt, pepper, and garlic for 15 seconds, or until finely chopped.
  3. Add yogurt and lime juice, blend until creamy. Set pesto aside.
  4. Place steak on grill, cook 6 minutes per side.
  5. Remove steak from grill, allow to rest 5 minutes.
  6. Slice steak diagonally, against the grain, into thin pieces.
  7. Sprinkle cilantro over steak, serve pesto on the side.
