1 1/4 lb  fresh broccoli rabe
6 cup  cold water
0 1/2 tsp  salt
4 tbsp  olive oil
2 each  medium garlic cloves
2 tbsp  grated Parmesan cheese
  1. In large pot, add salt and water, bring boil.
  2. Cut an X in bottom of broccoli rabe stems, gently place into boiling water.
  3. Cook until tender but still firm, about 4 minutes. Drain.
  4. In large heavy skillet heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté 1-2 minutes.
  5. Stir in the broccoli rabe, sauté 10 minutes, or until desired doneness.
  6. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
