36 each  medium garlic cloves
3 tsp  butter
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Allow butter to soften at room temperature.
  2. Cut aluminum foil into three 6" squares (large enough to wrap each garlic head).
  3. Cut off top 1/4 of garlic head to expose cloves.
  4. Place one garlic head in center of each square of foil and top with 1 teaspoon softened butter.
  5. Fold up aluminum foil around each garlic head to form packets, and arrange in 9" pie pan.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes, or until the garlic is soft.
