Ingredients Directions - Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a medium bowl, beat the sugar and margarine with an electric mixer at medium speed until well blended, about 4 minutes. Keep mixing, and add in the egg whites and vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. With the electric mixer on low, add flour to margarine mixture, and mix until just blended.
- Spray an 8 inch square baking pan with nonstick cooking spray, spread batter evenly into pan, and sprinkle with butterscotch morsels.
- Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 28 minutes. Cool in pan on wire rack, slice into 16 equal bars.
