14 oz  canned sauerkraut, drained
1 each  red onion
2 cup  chopped apples
2 lb  country style pork ribs
1 cup  apple juice
  1. Place sauerkraut, onion and apples in a 4 1/2-quart slow cooker. Top with meat. Pour apple juice over mixture in cooker.
  2. Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 6 to 7 hours or on high-heat setting for 3 to 3 1/2 hours. Serve with a slotted spoon; discard cooking liquid.
