1 lb  fresh asparagus
0 1/2 cup  cold water
0 1/4 cup  chopped parsley
1 tbsp  fresh peppermint
2 tbsp  fresh chives
1 tsp  fresh lemon juice
  1. Steam asparagus in a saucepan on the stove with water until tender but still firm.
  2. Drain water and add remaining ingredients.
  3. Serve immediately hot, or chill and serve cold.
