Remove and discard bones from the salmon, flake it with a fork, and then set aside.
In a large skillet, sauté the potatoes in the margarine for 15 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Add the green onions to the skillet and saute for 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in the pepper and then add the potatoes and the salmon. Continue to cook over medium heat, without stirring, until heated thoroughly.
