1 cup  dried cranberries
1 cup  red wine
1 cup  cold water
0 1/4 cup  maple syrup
1 tbsp  cornstarch
  1. Combine cranberries, wine, water and syrup in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer 5 minutes.
  2. Stir cornstarch in to 2 tablespoons water and add to simmered mixture. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes, and serve.
