2 cup  fresh diced pineapple
0 1/4 cup  fresh chopped onion
2 tbsp  fresh cilantro
1 each  whole jalapeno pepper
2 oz  fresh mint
0 1/2 cup  fresh lime juice
2 tsp  ground cumin
0 1/4 tsp  salt
0 1/4 tsp  ground red pepper (cayenne)
1 1/2 lb  Beef, flank steak, london broil, lean, raw, 0" trim
  1. To make pineapple relish combine the pineapple, onion, cilantro, jalapeño, 2 tablespoons mint, and 1/4 cup lime juice in a medium bowl. Set aside.
  2. Combine the cumin, salt, red pepper, and 1/4 cup lime juice in a small bowl. Pour over steak and let stand for 5-10 minutes.
  3. Grill the steaks, with grill lid closed, over medium-high heat (350-400 degrees) for 8-10 minutes per side. Serve with Pineapple Relish. (If broiling steak, place steak on rack of broiler pan. Broil 6-8 minutes per side, 3-5 inches from heat.
