Ingredients Directions
  1. Bring the water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Slowly add the grits and cook, stirring constantly.
  2. Return to a boil, and reduce the heat. Cook and stir for 5 to 7 minutes or until the water is absorbed and the mixture is thickened.
  3. Stir in the cooked turkey sausage, green onion, chile pepper, garlic salt, and black pepper When ready to serve sprinkle individual servings with cheese.
