2 each  whole chicken, raw
6 each  medium garlic cloves
1 tsp  salt and pepper
1 tsp  paprika
1 each  small onions
0 1/2 cup  orange juice
1 tsp  grated orange peel
0.3333 cup  chopped parsley
3 tbsp  olive oil
  1. Trim any visible fat from chicken; remove and discard skin. Rinse chicken and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Place chicken pieces in baking pan, sprinkle with garlic, and toss to coat.
  3. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and a generous sprinkling of paprika.
  4. Top with onions.
  5. Drizzle orange juice over chicken and sprinkle on zest. Sprinkle on parsley and toss again. Drizzle with olive oil and again toss to coat chicken.
  6. Cover and refrigerate overnight or up to 24 hours.
  7. Preheat grill to medium or broiler. Grill or broil chicken for about 12 minutes per side, turning once, until the juices of the chicken run clear.
  8. Serve chicken hot or chill and serve cold.
