2 cup  frozen unsweetened strawberries
0.6667 cup  fresh lime juice
0 1/2 cup  sugar
1 tbsp  tequila, 80 proof
1 tbsp  orange juice
  1. Process all the ingredients in a food processor or blender until smooth.
  2. Pour the mixture into a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan; then cover and freeze for 4 hours, or until firm but not frozen solid.
  3. Put a large bowl in the refrigerator to chill; then when the mixture is firm, break it into chunks and put it in the chilled bowl.
  4. Using an electric mixer, beat until smooth but not melted; then serve immediately or return the mixture to the loaf pan, cover, and freeze until serving time.
  5. To serve when frozen, scrape across the surface with a spoon and mound the shaving in dessert dishes.
