2 tsp  chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
45 oz  canned great northern beans, unsalted
1 each  large onion
0 1/2 cup  cold water
0 1/4 cup  packed brown sugar
0 1/4 cup  molasses
0 1/4 cup  Syrup, pancake, reduced calorie
2 tbsp  Sauce, worcestershire, low sodium
1 tsp  dry mustard
1 tsp  salt
0 1/4 tsp  black pepper
  1. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees, and finely chop the chipotles.
  2. In a 2 quart casserole dish or Dutch oven, stir together the chipotles and the remaining ingredients.
  3. Bake, uncovered, for 1 hour.
  4. Stir the mixture, and bake for 30 to 60 minutes, or until desired consistency, stirring occasionally (If the mixture becomes dry, stir in water as needed).
