2 tbsp  unsalted butter
5 tbsp  wheat germ
0 1/4 cup  orange juice
2 oz  honey
6 each  egg whites
12 piece  French bread baguette
  1. Heat oven to 450 degrees F.
  2. In 15x10x1" pan, add butter. Place pan in oven to melt. Remove from oven, sprinkle 3 tablespoons wheat germ evenly over butter. Set aside.
  3. In small bowl, beat honey, egg, and orange juice until foamy.
  4. Soak each side of bread in mixture 2 minutes, then move to pan. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons wheat germ over bread.
  5. Bake 10 minutes, or until bottom reaches a golden brown color. Turn and bake opposite side 6-8 minutes.
