1 each  large onion
4 tbsp  salted butter
4 cup  chicken broth
28 oz  Tomatoes, whole, peeled, canned
1 tbsp  sugar
32 oz  Pumpkin, canned, unsalted
2 tbsp  chopped parsley
2 tbsp  fresh chives
  1. Saute onion in butter until tender.
  2. Add broth and simmer 15 minutes.
  3. Process tomatoes in a blender or food processor until smooth.
  4. Add tomato and remaining ingredients to broth.
  5. Heat to serve.
