8 oz  Smucker's® Red Plum Jam
2 tsp  fresh lemon peel
1 tbsp  fresh lemon juice
0 1/2 tsp  ground ginger
0 1/2 tsp  anise seed
0 1/4 tsp  dry mustard
0 1/4 tsp  ground cinnamon
0.125 tsp  ground cloves
0.125 tsp  hot pepper sauce
  1. In a small saucepan heat the plum jam until melted. Stir in the remaining ingredients.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for about a minute, stirring constantly.
  3. Let the sauce cool, then use as a meat seasoning or as a dip for egg rolls.
