13 1/4 oz  Dreamfields Penne Rigate
1 each  red onion
4 cup  fresh cherry tomatoes
2 each  medium garlic cloves
8 oz  fresh basil leaves
0 1/2 tsp  hot red pepper flakes
2 tbsp  extra virgin olive oil
2 tbsp  chopped parsley
1 pinch  kosher salt
1 pinch  grated Parmesan cheese
  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions.
  2. Meanwhile, place the onion, tomatoes, garlic and basil in a food processor. Rapidly pulse on and off until the mixture is chopped. Pour into a large serving bowl and add the crushed pepper, olive oil and parsley.
  3. Drain the pasta and immediately add to the bowl. Toss well.
  4. Serve topped with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese.
