1 each  cooking spray
1 1/2 cup  fresh mashed banana
2 tbsp  canola oil
0 1/4 cup  low fat buttermilk
4 each  egg whites
1 1/2 cup  white all purpose flour
0 1/2 cup  old fashioned rolled oats
0 1/2 cup  sugar
2 tsp  low sodium baking powder
1 tsp  baking soda
0 1/2 tsp  salt
0.3333 cup  semi sweet chocolate chips
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray an 8x4-inch loaf pan with cooking spray.
  2. In a medium bowl combine mashed bananas, oil, buttermilk and egg whites; mix well. Set aside.
  3. In a separate large bowl combine flour, oats, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients. Add banana mixture to well of dry ingredients all at once and mix well.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips to batter (reserve 1 Tablespoon chocolate chips). Pour batter into loaf pan. Sprinkle 1 Tablespoon chocolate chips on top of batter.
  6. Bake 50-60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
