1 lb  extra lean beef tenderloin
1 tsp  salt
1 tbsp  brown sugar
0 1/2 tsp  ground cumin
1 tsp  chili powder
0 1/2 tsp  ground cayenne (red pepper)
1 each  cooking spray
  1. Remove fat from steak.
  2. Mix together the salt, sugar, cumin, chili powder and cayenne pepper.
  3. Press the spices firmly onto all sides of the steak and let stand for 5 minutes.
  4. Lightly coat the grill with cooking spray and preheat for 5 minutes. Grill the steak for 5 to 7 minutes, or according to your preference.
  5. Cut the steak into 4 portions or slice thinly and serve on a warm platter.
