2 tsp  canola oil
1 cup  fresh chopped onion
1 cup  chopped green bell peppers
1 lb  ground turkey, 7% fat, raw
1 cup  tomato sauce
1 tsp  brown sugar
0 1/2 cup  Catsup
1 tsp  hot red pepper flakes
2 tsp  Vinegar, red wine
0 1/4 tsp  black pepper
4 each  whole wheat hamburger buns
Directions
  1. In a large skillet, heat the oil and sauté the onion and bell pepper until soft.
  2. Add the ground turkey and cook for 5 minutes. Drain off any extra fat.
  3. Mix in the remaining ingredients. Simmer for 15 minutes and serve on buns.
