2 tbsp  sugar
2 tbsp  cornstarch
0.125 tsp  ground allspice
1 cup  cold water
0 1/4 cup  orange juice
2 tbsp  fresh lemon juice
0 1/2 cup  seedless raisins
0 1/4 cup  white all purpose flour
1 pinch  salt
0 1/4 tsp  black pepper
1 lb  boneless pork chops
2 tsp  canola oil
1 each  medium oranges
  1. Mix together the sugar, cornstarch, and allspice in a small saucepan. Add water and cook over low heat until thickened.
  2. Stir the raisins and fruit juices into the mixture and then remove from heat.
  3. In a separate bowl mix together the flour, salt and pepper and then use this to cover the pork chops.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium/high heat and brown both sides of the pork chops.
  5. Pour juice mix over the pork chops and cover.
  6. Reduce heat and simmer for approximately 30 minutes or until the pork chops are cooked to your liking.
  7. Place orange slices around the plate for serving.
