3 lb  top sirloin steak, lean
1 tsp  salt
0 1/4 tsp  black pepper
1 tbsp  garlic powder
0 1/2 cup  red wine
1 tsp  dried parsley
1 tsp  ground oregano
1 tsp  olive oil
0 1/2 cup  fresh mushrooms
  1. In baking dish, place steak. Rub with salt, pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.
  2. In small bowl, mix wine, parsley and oregano.
  3. Pour marinade over beef. Cover and refrigerate for 12 hours, turning often.
  4. In large skillet, heat oil over high. Add mushrooms and sauté over high, 3 minutes, stirring frequently.
  5. Remove steak from marinade.
  6. Place steak in skillet and sauté for 4 to 7 minutes on each side until cooked to desired doneness.
