0 1/4 cup  low fat buttermilk
0 1/4 cup  sour cream
0 1/2 tsp  sugar
0 1/4 tsp  salt
1 pinch  ground red pepper (cayenne)
2 cup  fresh sliced parsnip
1 1/2 cup  chopped apples
2 tbsp  fresh chopped green onion
  1. In small bowl, whisk buttermilk, sour cream, sugar, salt, and red pepper.
  2. In large bowl, mix parsnips, apple, and onions and drizzle with sour cream dressing. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
