Find a Diabetes Specialist. The American Diabetes Association and the National Committee for Quality Assurance co-sponsor a Diabetes Physician Recognition Program. The doctors listed here have met certain benchmark standards on quality measures in diabetes care. Searchable by state.

Education

Find a Diabetes Education Class. United States residents can pick a state, then click on the link to "Find a Diabetes Education Program in Your Area" to see a list of ADA-recognized classes.

Find a Diabetes Educator at MyDiabetesEducator.org. Locate a diabetes educator in your area, then visit their personal website to find out more about their practice.

Find a Diabetes Educator. The American Association of Diabetes Educators has a clickable state-by-state database of educators in the U.S. Not all members are certified, however.

Find a Dietitian. Search by area of expertise, type of service, location, and name for a registered dietitian (RD) from the American Dietetic Association's member database.
