Hillary Clinton’s Stance On Diabetes-Related Issues:
Health Care Plan:
• Price: Plan provides tax credits for working families to help them cover their costs. The tax credits will ensure that working families never have to pay more than a limited percentage of their income for health care.
• Availability: No discrimination. The insurance companies can't deny you coverage if you have a pre-existing condition.
• Dependability: It's portable. If you change or lose your job, you keep your health care.1
Stem Cell Research:
An outspoken supporter of stem cell research, Clinton cosponsored the Stem Cell Research Enhancement Act of 2005. She has called the ethics of stem cell research "a delicate balancing act” 2 and supports federal funding expansion for embryonic stem cell research.
Voting Record:
• Voted NO on $40 billion per year for limited Medicare prescription drug benefit. (June 2003)
• Voted YES on negotiating bulk purchases for Medicare prescription drug. (March 2005)
• Voted YES on increasing Medicaid rebate for producing generics. (Nov. 2005)3
Hillary Talks About Health Care:
“I believe everyone, every man, woman and child, should have quality, affordable health care in America. We should do it.” 4

Comments
I believe Hillary Clinton will fight for the rights of the people to have adequate health care coverage. This coverage should be limited to legal citizens.
