GETTING A REALITY CHECK

Have you ever had unrealistic expectations of yourself when it comes to treating your diabetes? Do you feel that you "have to do everything just right" in order to stay on top of your diabetes? Have you set yourself up for failure by trying to restrict yourself too dramatically (e.g., "I will never eat dessert again") or by setting unrealistic goals (e.g., "I'm going to start my new exercise program by running five miles a day")? If this sounds like something you've been through, dLifeTV would like to hear your story. We’re especially eager to hear from the men out there who have dealt with this issue!

Tell us your story.

INEVITABILITY

When you were diagnosed with diabetes, did it feel like an inevitable “death sentence”? Did you think that you were destined to a life of restriction and diabetic complications? What happened to change your attitude? If this sounds like you, dLifeTV wants to hear your story. We’re especially eager to hear from the men out there who have dealt with this issue!

Tell us your story.

INSPIRED TO TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR DIABETES

Have you had a specific life experience, event, or revelation that inspired you to turn things around and get better control over your diabetes? If you were previously neglecting your diabetes care and “got inspired” to get healthy, we want to hear from you!

Is your spouse unsupportive of your diabetes care? Has their lack of understanding of the disease resulted in marital problems or even divorce? Or is the shoe on the other foot; do you care about your spouse's diabetes more than they do and has this issue hurt your marriage? If you are willing to share your story on dLifeTV to help others in your situation, we'd like to hear from you.

Tell us your story.

If you have dealt with or are dealing with any of these issues and are willing to share your story on dLifeTV, we’d like to hear from you.

Tell us your story.
