Lois discusses her strategy for helping people with diabetes navigate grocery stores, make sense of food labels, and eat healthy.

Astrid and Janis offer up an in-depth conversation about insulin pumping, from the pros and cons to how a patient can get started with insulin pumping. Next, our host interviews the dTalk Featured Educator, Marianne Hutton. Marianne, a CDE and RD in Santa Rosa, CA, focuses on patients with newly-diagnosed type 2 diabetes. Marianne's insights on filtering through the fear and misconceptions of diabetes could help any patient with diabetes.
