Lynn Prowitt Bio
Lynn Prowitt is a seasoned professional who's been creating content for consumer magazines, books, websites and TV for more than 20 years. She has special expertise in nutrition, food and health but is adept in many topic areas.
From 2007 to 2012, Lynn was a senior editor at dLife. She helped lead dLife's editorial team and oversaw all food and nutrition content for the company's online, broadcast, and print products.
At dLife, she conceived and produced hundreds of tips, articles, slideshows, and more for dLife.com. She contributed to dLife's weekly, newsmagazine TV show, both behind and in front of the camera. Lynn was segment producer on more than 30 Chef Michel Nischan cooking segments for dLifeTV, and also conceived, wrote and is featured on-camera in many segments.
Before dLife, Lynn was an editorial consultant for South Beach Diet and Atkins Nutritionals, and was on the editing teams for Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution, Atkins' Diabetes Revolution and other Atkins books. She has also worked for Reader's Digest, Health, Self, Newsweek, Golf Digest, Life, More, Ladies' Home Journal, and The Washington Post. Lynn has a master's degree in psychology.
Lynn lives in Fairfield, Connecticut, with her husband, son and three stepchildren, along with assorted dogs, chickens, turtles and a cat.
